At Ghodrati Rug, we take pride in the art of handcrafting every rug with exceptional care and precision.
We extend that same commitment to excellence in how we deliver your purchase — ensuring it arrives safely, efficiently, and in perfect condition.

All our rugs are carefully packaged for secure international transit and are handled exclusively by professional delivery partners specializing in the transportation of fine carpets and textiles.

We collaborate with multiple trusted logistics providers to ensure your order reaches you on time and in pristine condition. Depending on product availability and location, your order may be shipped in multiple deliveries handled by different partners. Please note that shipping costs are calculated per shipment, not per total order, based on the warehouse or showroom from which your rug is dispatched.

Delivery speed may vary depending on your region, the rug’s availability, and proximity to major cities. Estimated delivery times are indicated on each product page to help you plan your purchase confidently.

You may enter your postal code at checkout to verify if we deliver to your area.
If your location is currently unavailable, we invite you to subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on social media for updates on new delivery zones and collections.

All shipments are delivered Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with limited Saturday deliveries available in selected cities upon request. If you wish to confirm a Saturday delivery, please contact us before your order is processed. Kindly note that not all special delivery requests can be accommodated.

Please ensure that your rug can be easily transported into your home or premises.
We provide detailed product and package dimensions on our website. In the event of a failed delivery due to limited access (such as narrow staircases, doorways, or elevators), additional delivery fees may apply for redelivery or return.

If you choose to have your order shipped through a third-party freight forwarder, Ghodrati Rug cannot assume responsibility for any damage or issues that occur once the goods have been transferred to that forwarder.

Shipping Fee & Locations

Shipping fees are calculated per shipment and depend on the destination and total shipment value.
For orders containing multiple rugs, items may be shipped separately depending on availability. Shipping costs are determined automatically during checkout, based on your location and the number of shipments required.

For selected European cities, we offer complimentary shipping on individual shipments with a subtotal value of €1,000 or above (excluding any additional services).

Types of Delivery

We offer two delivery service options to ensure your rug arrives as smoothly as possible:

Standard Delivery

Your rug will be delivered to the entrance of your home or building, at ground-floor level.
For apartments, deliveries will be made to the building’s lobby or the first accessible dry area. This service does not include unpacking, installation, or debris removal.

Once your rug is ready for shipment, you will receive an email notification with tracking information. Our delivery partner may also contact you to schedule a specific delivery date and time window.

White-Glove Delivery

Our premium White-Glove Service includes delivery to your room of choice, up to two flights of stairs, careful unpacking, placement of your rug, and removal of all packaging materials.
This optional service is available for an additional flat rate, depending on your delivery location. Please note that areas requiring more than two flights of stairs may incur additional fees.

Before delivery, please ensure that your floors and surroundings are protected, as our partners cannot be held responsible for damage to flooring or walls. Delivery teams are not permitted to move existing furniture.

How long do I have to return my item?

At Ghodrati Rug, our goal is to guarantee your complete satisfaction.
If, after receiving your order, you decide to return it, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days — without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, please email our customer service team within 14 days of receipt, indicating your order details and intention to return.
After confirmation, the rug must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Once received and inspected, we will process your refund for the value of the item(s).
Please note that the direct cost of return shipping is borne by the customer.


Exceptions

  • Rugs that are custom-made, produced to order, or tailored to a client’s specifications are not eligible for return or refund.

  • Purchases made by companies or professional clients for which a commercial invoice has been issued are also excluded from the right of withdrawal.


International Customers

Non-EU residents and EU-registered companies purchasing through our website are exempt from Italian VAT (22%).
However, customs duties, import taxes, and any applicable local charges are the responsibility of the buyer and may vary depending on destination regulations.
